Fraser Eagle's Euromed subsidiary collects a first for Malta
Euromed Support Systems Ltd – Fraser Eagle’s Malta-based service delivery subsidiary – has become the first private company in Malta to be awarded the Investors in People Standard. The IiP Standard has long been acknowledged as a business improvement tool, helping organisations of every size, type and location to gain more from their people in support of business goals. The standard was awarded following an assessment from the Investors in People International Quality Centre, which included confidential interviews with members of the Euromed team. The report found that Euromed had: - A strong commitment to training and development and a genuine belief from “the top” that people are a valuable resource within the business
- A clear purpose and vision, supported by effective people management strategies, which are well understood by employees at all levels
- An environment where people are involved and can put their ideas forward, which leads to opportunities for development
- People who feel the contribution they make to the success of the business is valued
- An open management style in place based on trust, respect, fairness and recognition
- A strong on-the-job training process, particularly for the induction of new employees
