| Kitty Ussher Friday, 17th November 2006 Kitty becomes first MP to see Fraser Eagle’s new HQ Burnley MP Kitty Ussher heaped praise on one of Lancashire’s best known transport companies when she visited its new head office today (Friday). Fraser Eagle Group is moving into its purpose-built £1.8million headquarters on Padiham’s ShuttleworthMeadBusinessPark next week. And Miss Ussher became the first MP to visit the building when she was given a special advance preview. She was escorted around the 30,000 sq ft development, which includes the company’s state-of-the-art UK control centre, by Fraser Eagle’s group managing director Kevin Dean. “It’s great to see progressive companies like Fraser Eagle within the business community here in East Lancashire,” said Miss Ussher. “Fraser Eagle is an important employer in Burnley and Padiham and can be held up as great example for others to follow.” The tour took in the company’s garage facilities, home to Fraser Eagle’s luxury coach fleet, and its contract furniture operation, also based on the same site. Afterwards Kevin Dean asked Miss Ussher for support in implementing environmental practices and also urged her to continue campaigning for the railway to be re-instated between Colne and Skipton.
